Why we created it

Finding a coach is easy. Finding the right coach can still feel overwhelming.

Every coach has different qualifications, coaching styles, experience and life journeys. Every client has different goals, personalities and reasons for seeking support.

Most coaching websites simply provide a long list of coaches and expect clients to work everything out for themselves. We believed there had to be a better way.

Coach Finder 4U was created by Julie, a qualified ADHD Coach, and Steve, a software developer with almost 30 years' experience creating business software. Together we created a platform that puts the client's needs first while helping great coaches connect with people they are genuinely well placed to support.

Step 1 – Create your account

Creating an account only takes a couple of minutes. You'll enter your basic details, confirm your email using a secure six-digit code, then continue into the coach area where you can start building your profile.

Step 2 – Build your coaching profile

This is your shop window. Add the information that helps us match you accurately and gives clients confidence in who you are: your biography, coaching approach, specialist subjects, qualifications, pricing, preferred clients, location, online presence and more.

Good to know: you don't have to complete everything in one sitting. Save your progress and return whenever you're ready, and the profile completion guide will show you what's left to do.

Step 3 – We review your profile

Every coach profile is personally reviewed before it becomes active. We check that your profile is complete, professional and gives clients enough information to make an informed choice.

Good to know: approval is not a judgement of whether somebody is a “good” or “bad” coach. We review the information supplied, check relevant links and make sure the profile is suitable for the Coach Finder 4U platform.

Approval or clear feedback If everything is in order we approve your profile. If something needs changing, we'll tell you what needs attention so you can update it.

Step 4 – Receive a matching client enquiry

Once approved, you can start receiving enquiries that match your coaching expertise and the preferences you've added to your profile. When a suitable client request is available, we'll let you know so you can decide whether it feels right for you.

Step 5 – Click “I'm Interested”

If you'd like to be considered for that client, simply click I'm Interested. You're never required to respond positively to an enquiry that doesn't feel suitable.

Good to know: no Introduction Credit is used at this stage. You're simply telling us that you'd like to be included when the client's shortlist is prepared.

Step 6 – The client receives their shortlist

The client receives a small, carefully matched shortlist of coaches who are suitable for their request and who have expressed an interest. They can then compare the options without having to search through hundreds of profiles.

Step 7 – The client opens your full profile

If the client wants to know more about you, they can choose to open your full matched profile. This is when they see the fuller information you've provided to help them decide whether you might be the right fit.

This is the only time an Introduction Credit is used. Not when you receive an enquiry. Not when you click “I'm Interested”. Not simply because you're included on the shortlist.

Step 8 – Start the conversation

If the client chooses to make contact, the conversation and any future coaching relationship are between you and the client. You agree your own availability, sessions, pricing and next steps directly.

No commission: Coach Finder 4U does not take a percentage of your coaching fees. You keep 100% of what you charge your client.

Step 1 – Tell us what you're looking for

Start by telling us what kind of coaching support you need. Our guided request form asks a small number of focused questions about your goals, preferences, budget and how you'd like coaching to take place, so we can understand what a good match looks like for you.

Step 2 – Verify your email

We'll send a six-digit verification code to your email address. This simple step helps us confirm that your request is genuine before it enters the matching process.

Step 3 – We identify suitable coaches

Your request is reviewed and matched against approved coaches whose expertise and preferences fit what you've told us. Suitable coaches are invited to express an interest, so your shortlist is made up of people who are relevant and available to help.

Less searching: you don't need to browse hundreds of profiles and guess who might be suitable. We narrow the choice for you first.

Step 4 – Receive your shortlist

Once the matching process is complete, you'll receive a small personal shortlist of suitable coaches who have expressed an interest in your request. You can compare them at your own pace and decide whose full profile you'd like to explore.

Step 5 – Choose who feels right

Open the profiles that genuinely interest you, learn more about each coach and choose who you'd like to contact. If you decide to start a conversation, you and the coach then deal directly with each other from that point onwards.

You stay in control: finding a coach through Coach Finder 4U is free for clients, and you're never required to contact or choose anyone from your shortlist.

Questions coaches often ask us

Coach Finder 4U is still in its launch phase. Our first focus has been building enough variety across coaching specialisms so clients have suitable people to be matched with. We are now increasing the client-acquisition side through social media, content, partnerships, networking and wider promotion. We do not promise any coach a particular number of enquiries.

Matching considers the client's needs and preferences against relevant information supplied by approved coaches, including coaching specialisms, working methods, language, location where relevant and other profile preferences. For online coaching a coach can be based anywhere in the world - country is not a barrier, so a client can work with whoever genuinely suits them best. For face-to-face coaching, real distance and the coach's travel arrangements decide what is practical. Suitable coaches are invited to express an interest before the client's shortlist is finalised.

No. Coach Finder 4U does not take a percentage of the fees you agree with your client. Your coaching fees remain between you and your client.

An Introduction Credit is only used when a client actively chooses to open your full matched profile. Receiving an enquiry, expressing interest and being shortlisted do not themselves use a credit.

Founder Coaches can join free during the launch period until 1 January 2027. After that, the current planned membership price is £10 per month.

Yes. If you decide Coach Finder 4U is not right for your business, you can cancel before the paid period begins. There is no long-term contract.

There are no guaranteed enquiry numbers. The Founder Coach period gives you time to see how the platform develops before deciding whether it provides enough value for you to continue.

Yes. If you're busy, taking time off or simply don't want new enquiries for a while, you can pause receiving new enquiries from your dashboard and resume when you're ready.

Yes. Your profile is yours to keep up to date as your coaching business, qualifications, specialisms or availability change.

Profiles are manually reviewed for completeness and credibility, including the information supplied by the coach and relevant links. Approval means the profile has passed our platform review; it is not a guarantee or independent assessment of coaching quality.

No. You decide whether each enquiry feels suitable for you. If it isn't a client you want to work with, simply don't express an interest.

Because that recreates the problem Coach Finder 4U is trying to solve. Clients can quickly become overwhelmed by large directories. Our aim is to understand what they need first and then give them a manageable shortlist of relevant coaches.
